Immanuel College seeks a talented, well qualified and committed teacher to join our high-achieving Mathematics Department. Mathematics is a popular and highly successful subject at Immanuel with GCSE results amongst some of the best in the country. Many of our students go on to study Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-level here before moving on to pursue further studies at university.

There is the opportunity to teach the whole age range from year 7 up to A-level (exact modules of work to be negotiated), including the possibility of teaching Further Mathematics.

The successful candidate will have good mathematical skills and the ability to make the subject come alive with inspirational and interactive lessons which challenge and support all pupils. Our classes are characterised by high levels of motivation, good behaviour and the enthusiasm to achieve. While we have a high proportion achieving the top grades in Mathematics, our students do span the ability range.
