Our Co-Curricular Programme
The mission of our co-curricular programme, in line with the rest of the school, is to liberate our pupils’ creativity, in turn nurturing their authentic spirit. Every child’s interests and abilities are unique, and to understand these - to find out what inspires each of us and to explore different ways of learning, Immanuel College offers a broad and deep cocurricular programme. Through it, pupils have fun; meet new people from beyond their form, teaching and year groups; and socialise in a more structured way.
They develop both technical skills in an area of interest and soft skills which help equip them for life beyond the school including the ability to work as part of teams, to communicate with a wide variety of people and in different forms, and to improve their adaptability, problem solving, critical thinking and leadership capabilities.
Involvement in the programme, both as society leaders and as participants, has the additional benefit of improving university entrance prospects and, ultimately, career opportunities.
