Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision - explore our website and visit us to find out more about our school.
Founded in 1990 in Bushey by Lord Immanuel Jakobovits, his vision was of an educational establishment that would affirm Orthodox Jewish values and provide an excellent secular education.
Upholding his vision, Immanuel College is proud to be a selectively academic school offering a broad and rigorous curriculum, supported by our extensive co-curricular offering, enabling every pupil to explore their interests and passions both in and outside of the classroom.
Alongside this, Jewish values are at the heart of the school. With a vibrant and interactive Jewish formal and informal Life & Learning Department, our pupils embrace Tefilla daily, and with Jewish Studies a key part of the curriculum, this enables our pupils to grow as ever-thinking and knowledgeable Jews, comfortable with Jewish practice and proud of their Jewish identity and role in the modern world.
Immanuel College Preparatory School opened in 2011 with its first Reception class.
Located on a happy, verdant campus in Bushey, less than 10 miles from central London, the school has excellent transport links with a coach network spanning North-West London.
Most pupils join us at 4+ (Reception), 11+ (Year 7) or 16+ (Sixth Form), however if we do have space, we will occasionally take pupils into other year groups.
Our next Open Morning, on March 18th 2024 - an opportunity to visit us and talk to current pupils about the school, as they take you on a tour on a school in action, followed by a Presentation by Dr Sachania and our Head Boy and Head Girl.
If you are unable to attend the Open Day, please contact Mrs Greenfield to discuss the possibility of a private tour of the school.
All prospective pupils who wish to join us must have an interview and sit entry papers. There is also the requirement for a school reference to be obtained from their current school setting.
