“Inspiring the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders”

At Immanuel College, our Business Department offers an exciting, future-focused education through both A Level Business and the BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate and Diploma in Business. Whether you’re aiming for university, an apprenticeship, or to launch your own business, our courses provide the knowledge, skills, and confidence you need to succeed.

Why Choose Business at Immanuel?

We offer two distinct pathways to suit different learning styles and career ambitions:

A Level Business is ideal for students who enjoy analytical thinking, essay writing, and understanding the theory behind real-world business decisions.

BTEC Business (Extended Certificate and Diploma) is a vocational qualification that blends academic content with practical, real-life business projects—perfect for hands-on learners.

Both options are designed to prepare students for the modern world of work and further study, with strong links to employers, higher education, and industry professionals.

Our Aim

The core aim of the Business Department is simple:

  • To develop confident, creative, and capable individuals who are ready to thrive in a competitive, global business environment.
  • We focus on building enterprise skills, financial awareness, strategic thinking, and ethical leadership—traits that are valuable in every career.
Opportunities Beyond the Classroom

At Immanuel, studying business isn’t limited to lessons. Our students take part in a variety of enriching extracurricular activities that bring learning to life:

Tycoon Enterprise Competition – In partnership with the Peter Jones Foundation, students create and run their own businesses using real capital, developing entrepreneurial flair and resilience.
FLASH Competition – A high-energy business challenge where students compete in teams to solve problems quickly and creatively.
