GCSE Curriculum

Immanuel College offers an inspiring and academic GCSE curriculum allowing you to grow through       self-discovery and empowerment.

Our Years 10 and 11 curriculum allows pupils greater academic freedom to encourage personal growth. Pupils develop a range of essential skills whilst also being able to choose subjects based on their unique strengths and interests.

In Year 9, pupils begin taking ownership of study by choosing GCSE options.  The core curriculum provides a solid and stimulating learning base comprised of English, Mathematics, Religious or Jewish studies and either Double or Triple Science.

To build the GCSE curriculum further, our pupils choose a timetable of subjects to explore and strengthen their personal and academic ambitions. They have three free subject choices from a selection of 11 subjects to best suit aspirations -- strengthening their foundation and building a pathway to Sixth Form.

Please browse through our GCSE Prospectus found below. It includes key milestone dates for 2024 and the GCSE subject profile chart along with detailed information for each subject and examination board links.

Immanuel College is committed to nurturing and supporting all pupils through the GSCE option selection process and beyond -- providing the personalised guidance and encouragement they need to fulfil their potential. It is important pupils and parents consult with each other when making subject decisions and the Immanuel team is on hand to assist both pupils and their families with this exciting stage of the education journey.
