Jewish Studies Teacher - Part Time
The Role: We are looking for an engaging and passionate colleague who will share and promote the high standards of teaching, pastoral care and Jewish life and learning that are the core values of our school, through the formal and co-curricular opportunities of the school day. With primary responsibility for teaching Reception and Year 1, the successful candidate will also be able to teach Key Stage 2 and, if appropriate, may assist in developing and delivering an engaging and enriching topic-based Jewish Studies curriculum in Upper Key Stage 2.
They will have a broad Jewish knowledge and skills base, which they wish to impart to the pupils, equipping them with a range of skills, knowledge and confidence in their Jewish learning. They will be a role model for the Torah lessons they teach. They will be approachable, imaginative and motivated, seeking to bring out the best in all the children whilst working as part of a close-knit team. We offer the opportunity for staff to innovate and extend their own professional development, in a warm and supportive environment. To work closely with all staff to create a safe and caring environment in which children are excited and confident in their Jewish Life and Learning.
