Informal Jewish Education

Jewish Life

Jewish Life and Learning is the heartbeat of the College.

The school day is scheduled to incorporate daily Tefilla; school uniform and the Kashrut policy embrace the school’s ethos and the calendar marks all the Jewish Festivals.

Jewish Studies is a key part of the curriculum here at Immanuel College and students are taught in ability groupings from the beginning of Year 7 to allow for a tailored curriculum of learning that enables pupils to develop as thinking and knowledgeable Jews, comfortable with Jewish practice and proud of their Jewish identity and their role in the modern world.

The Formal Jewish Studies department works closely with the Beit team to provide regular lunch time clubs, after school learning opportunities, trips and whole school events.
