Holocaust Survivor Mala Tribich Visits Immanuel College
Yesterday our Year 12 students had the immense privilege of hearing from Holocaust survivor Mala Tribich MBE.
Mala shared her remarkable story of resilience, courage, and hope — from life in the Piotrków ghetto to surviving Ravensbrück and Bergen-Belsen. Her testimony brought history to life in the most powerful way, reminding us of the importance of memory, empathy, and standing up against hatred in all its forms.
As Elie Wiesel said, “When you hear a witness, you become a witness.” Our students left inspired, reflective, and deeply moved.
We are honoured to have welcomed Mala to our school and grateful for the opportunity for our community to learn from her extraordinary strength and wisdom.
A truly unforgettable experience.
