Immanuel Celebrates Israel's 78th Birthday

The campus of Immanuel College in Bushey transformed into a vibrant celebration of culture, history, and community spirit as students and staff came together to mark Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day). With the school draped in blue and white, the event stood as a core highlight of the college calendar, reflecting its deep-rooted Jewish ethos and strong connection to Israel.

The morning began with a festive Shacharit service, including an uplifting communal recital of Hallel (prayers of thanksgiving), filled with song and gratitude. Giving up their standard school uniforms for the day, students and staff wore blue and white clothing and the sounds of classic and modern Israeli music echoed across the school grounds.
