Year 2 Celebrate Europe Day

As part of their topic 'Continents and Oceans', Year 2 had the opportunity to explore our continent a little bit more on 'Europe Day' today!
The children were very excited to learn some well-known songs in French, including “heads, shoulders, knees and toes”. They also learnt to speak some basic Spanish words including the numbers 1-10 and some colours.
The class then had lots of messy fun when they made their own pizzas 🍕 and decorated pictures of famous European landmarks in an art 🖼 activity.
