Years 2 and 3 Visit Chiltern Open Air Museum
Year 2 children took part in a pond-dipping workshop in which they were able to collect various pond life and examine them closely. They also enjoyed exploring the vast grounds which had many interesting historic buildings. Along their travels the children were able to see some friendly sheep and even got to pet some of them.
Year 3 took part in a Roman workshop involving lots of different activities, including making oil lamps out of clay and playing Roman-style games. The class toured around the site and enjoyed learning about life in the past. The beautiful weather, adventure playground and cupcake dessert were an added bonus.
