Immanuel College celebrated Purim on Tuesday 10th March with an array of activities for all students. Morning Form time was followed by spirited and rowdy megillah readings in the Gym and AZBK, after which the fun continued with a silent disco, inflatables on the All Weather Pitch, a Mission Impossible challenge and a BMX show in the Gym. The day ended with the whole school gathering in the Gym to watch the Senior Prefect Team’s Purim video and to listen to the Immanuel College Purim Band, with vocals provided by Elisheva Cowen (Year 10). As always, students wore an array of colourful and outlandish outfits, whilst amongst the staff there were no fewer than four Cruella de Vils! The whole Immanuel community enjoyed a wonderful day of fun and joy whilst also fulfilling all the Purim mitzvot, before heading off home to continue the festivities.
