Scholarships

Academic and Specialist

We offer two types of Scholarships: Academic and Specialist, along with Bursaries which are means-tested. Further details about Bursaries and how to apply are here.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS (11+ and Sixth Form)

Year 7 Transition and Entry

All Year 7 candidates (from both ICPS and externally) are eligible for Academic Scholarships. Pupils do not need to apply specifically for an Academic Scholarship as they are automatically considered on the basis of their 11+ entrance exam and interview.

An Academic Scholarship, awarded at Year 7, is held until Year 11 (subject to periodic review) and is renewable into the Sixth Form, provided the pupil meets the expectations of scholars as explained in their offer letter and the parent contract.

Sixth Form Transition and Entry

As part of every student’s Y11 transfer discussions, their scholarship status and aspirations will be explored. Most of our scholars continue to develop and serve as exceptional role models for the duration of their academic career through the end of Year 13.

Many pupils also discover talents which make them eligible to become academic scholars as part of transition into our Sixth Form. Current Immanuel College pupils should register their interest in scholarships here by Friday 11 October 2024. External Applicants should register their interest by Monday 28 October, 2024 as part of their Sixth Form Application.

The value of an Academic Scholarship is given in the offer letter to parents. The value of scholarships may vary from year to year at the sole discretion of the Head Master.

All pupils in receipt of a scholarship are expected to maintain high standards of behaviour (in and outside of school), diligence and attendance and participate fully in all aspects of College life.

SPECIALIST SCHOLARSHIPS

Year 7 Transition and Entry (11+)

Scholarships into Year 7 are designed to recognise potential and exceptional talent. Scholars are expected to participate in the extensive co-curricular and extended learning opportunities in their fields.

In recognition of additional contribution expected, the scholar is offered a reduction in the fees. The College offers the following scholarships for entry in Year 7.

  • Art (including Photography)
  • Creative Writing
  • Jewish Life & Learning
  • Music
